ACWW Aims

  • Improved quality of life for women and communities worldwide

  • Empowerment of Rural Women, raising the standards of living for Rural Women and their families, and enabling their voices to be heard on the global stage

ACWW is an international network of 450 rural women’s organizations in more than 80 countries representing more than 9 million members. It works to improve standards of living for rural women and their families through its advocacy and grassroots project funding. ACWW advocates for its members through its consultative status with the United Nation. The work of ACWW is supported through memberships, donations, and contributions to the Rural Women in Action Fund. The ACWW Triennial World Conference is held every three years.
